The Team and Job Summary
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Equipment
Consulting team. This is a unique opportunity for an
entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set
to join the Equipment team, whose responsibilities extend beyond
those of traditional Engineers. The ideal person for this role will
need to not only have a strong grasp of Electrical Engineering, but
also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety
of tasks.
Job Responsibilities
Inspect and evaluate damages to different types of electrical and
electronic systems, such as, circuit breakers, transformers, power
distribution, switchgear, generators, bus ducts, information
technology equipment, electronic systems, and a variety of other
electrical/electronic equipment.
Conduct configuration audits.
Analyze requirements and specifications to determine comparable
equipment replacements.
Provide research for determining costs associated with equipment
replacement (i.e., new and used).
Determine fair market equipment appraisals. Expected to produce 3+
page written reports regularly.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering
5+ years of experience in electrical engineering design, analysis,
or applications
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal
skills
Computer skills (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
A desire to learn, excel and grow with us and within the
profession
Driver's License
