Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
School Psychologist position is available working with elementary
students (K-5) in a supportive district setting. This role offers
the opportunity to provide key psychological services including
evaluations, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Admission,
Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, and behavior plans that
directly impact student success. Assignments will vary by school
within the district, requiring minor travel between locations.
Location: Chattanooga Area, Tennessee Contract Duration: January 5,
2026 May 21, 2026 Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
(part-time will not be considered) Setting: On-site (no telework or
hybrid options) Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive
psychological evaluations to assess student needs Develop and
implement individualized behavior intervention plans Participate in
ARD meetings and collaborate with educators and families to create
and monitor IEPs Provide counseling and support services for
elementary students Manage a caseload primarily serving K-5
students, with assignments varying by location Coordinate with
school staff and administrators to support student academic and
social-emotional development Qualifications: Active Tennessee
Department of Education certification for School Psychology
Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred Strong
knowledge of evaluation techniques, behavior plan development, and
IEP processes Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Ability to travel between multiple school sites within the district
