Job Description:

A company is looking for a General Education Composition Instructor.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor the progress of assigned learners and provide support throughout their course
Offer expertise in the assigned content area and maintain current knowledge in the field
Collaborate with other professionals to create a positive, student-focused environment

Required Qualifications:

Ph.D. in English, Literature, Writing, Composition, or a similar content area
Minimum of 3 years' experience in student support and instruction
Ability to work with diverse learner profiles
Experience with distance education and distance learning students preferred
Availability to work a student-friendly schedule, including evenings and weekends
