Job Description:
J8 Security is seeking dedicated and vigilant security officers
who are available for weekend shifts. This position is key to
maintaining the safety and security of our clients' premises.
Reporting directly to the Security Supervisor, you will execute a
range of security duties designed to safeguard the assets and
personnel at the site. This role demands the highest level of
integrity and attention to detail in order to ensure a safe
environment. Conduct regular and thorough patrols of the premises.
Operate security systems, reviewing surveillance footage and
conducting security checks. Manage entrance points and conduct
visitor screening to ensure only authorised personnel access the
facility. Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with
established protocols, maintaining a calm and professional
demeanor. Complete detailed reports on security occurrences and
incidences of interest. Enforce property rules and regulations as
specified by the law and the client. Collaborate with law
enforcement and emergency responders when necessary. Ability to
operate security systems and emergency equipment. Proficient in
surveillance and reporting techniques. Strong interpersonal skills
and ability to communicate effectively. Physical fitness and
ability to patrol extensively. Keen observation skills and
attention to detail. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
State-approved Security Guard license is mandatory. First Aid and
CPR certifications preferred.
