Job Description Job Description Forklift Operator Needed Job Description This entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn and engage in the procedural operations of magnesium manufacturing. Candidates will receive training on forklift operation and all necessary operational procedures. The role requires the ability to work on your feet for up to 8 hours per day and the capability to walk up to 1 mile daily. Comfort with working in both indoor and outdoor environments is essential. Responsibilities Safely operate a forklift for material management. Work in the control room to oversee operations. Follow procedures for building startup and shutdown per run. Monitor levels and processes. Manually load materials in preparation for runs. Perform general labor duties as assigned. Stage and roll drums as part of manual labor. Perform density testing on finished products. Collaborate with supervision on daily structure and planning. Work Environment Work is performed in a magnesium processing and manufacturing facility, both indoors and outdoors. The work environment is non-climate controlled except for the control room and can vary between hot and cold depending on the weather. There is limited cellular signal. Shifts available: 1st Shift - Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM 2nd Shift - Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM 3rd Shift - Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Pay: $18 with the possibility of moving up to $21 in 90 days Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saxonburg, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
