  Overview of the Medical Front Office Specialist Role:
  
  • 
    
  • Greet and check in all patients as they enter the office.
    
  • Answers and triages all incoming calls.
    
  • Schedules upcoming appointments for patients.
    
  • Ensure the patient's medical information and insurance is accurate and up to date.
    
  • Collect and review referrals and pre-authorizations.
    
  • Discusses payment plans and schedules with patient.
    
    Preferred Qualifications for the Medical Front Office Specialist:
    
    • 
      
    • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a medical receptionist or similar role.
      
    • Solid understanding of billing software and electronic medical records.
      
    • Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
      
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      
    • Problem-solving and organizational abilities.
