available) /n /n As a Radiologic Technologist (Diagnostic, X-Ray
Tech), you will perform imaging procedures independently,
demonstrating proficiency in various technical tasks related to
diagnostic radiography. Your responsibilities include: /n /n -
Patient Identification and Documentation: /n /n - Accurately
identify patients using two identifiers and adhere to universal
protocols during procedures. /n - Review patient history and assess
physician orders, following departmental protocols for optimal data
acquisition. /n - Document patient history in electronic records as
required. /n /n - Contrast Administration and Coding: /n /n -
Administer oral (PO) and rectal contrast as per physician orders
and department policies. /n - Ensure proper coding and tracking of
exams within your area of responsibility using the RIS system. /n -
Network all exams to ISITE for archiving and interpretation, and
enter charges appropriately. /n /n - Diagnostic Radiography: /n /n
- Perform diagnostic radiography procedures using established
protocols without constant supervision. /n - Operate complex
imaging equipment, acquire, analyze, manipulate, and document image
data according to protocol. /n /n - Interpersonal Skills and
Teamwork: /n /n - Interact effectively with patients and
co-workers, demonstrating empathy, respect, and active listening.
/n - Collaborate as a team member within the department and across
other departments to expedite patient care. /n /n - Independent
Judgment and Communication: /n /n - Adjust protocols based on
independent judgment to apply ionizing radiation appropriately. /n
/n /n Clearly communicate instructions to patients, allaying fears
and ensuring cooperation during procedures Graduate of an ARRT
approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT
approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation
date. Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect
supervision by an ARRT certified diagnostic technologist until the
degree is verified. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: ARRT
Registry eligible as a Radiologic Technologist. Must obtain
radiography registry within 6 months of hire date. CPR or BLS
Required. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a
didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) /n - Act 31 Child Abuse
