Senior Billing Specialist

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Sr. Billing Specialist to manage billing processes and lead the billing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee accurate claims submission and manage denials to maximize reimbursements
Lead daily operations of the billing team and mentor junior members
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and federal regulations while providing support to patients and providers

Required Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in medical billing, specifically in telemedicine for mental health
Strong understanding of EHR systems, preferably Healthie or similar
Familiarity with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA
Knowledge of mental health billing codes, procedures, and regulations
Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus
